Halloween in Anaheim

Looking for a spooktacular good time this Halloween? The annual Anaheim Halloween Parade has been providing family-friendly frights since 1924. On October 28, join the nighttime pageant winding 1.5 miles through downtown. Easily the biggest Halloween celebration in California, hundreds of thousands of spectators flock to the streets to see this old-fashioned celebration in action.

Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland is a tradition for many, and special tricks (along with plenty of treats) saturate the famous park throughout October. There’s also Motel 6 Feet Under’s Haunted House every Thursday – Sunday throughout the month. Dubbed the scariest experience in Orange County, the maize is full of state of the art animatronics and props. You’ll find it at the Business Expo Center.

A Scary Good Time

The Anaheim Plaza Halloween Trick or Treat festival is fun for the whole family. Held on October 28 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., it’s perfect for families with little ones. With balloon art, a kid-friendly DJ, face painting and giveaways, you’ll enjoy trick or treating at N. Euclid Street and the Santa Ana Freeway.

Head to the Halloween Treat-or-Treating at Anaheim Town Square for all the treats and none of the trick. This free event is all about candy gathering, decorating pumpkins, train rides and more. Participate in the annual costume contest and get your face painted a ghostly creation. Anaheim Town Square is located at 2180 East Lincoln Avenue.
