Luck is On Your Side in Anaheim

Disneyland Hotel Hiking

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Anaheim gives you plenty of options, whether you prefer to spend the day at Disneyland enjoying their green desserts, or you want to head to a local Irish pub for corned beef and cabbage. The annual Shamrock ‘n’ Roll on the Queen Mary is a tradition for many, and you’ll enjoy two stages of Celtic rock along with prizes, competitions, and all the Irish fare you can manage.

Casey’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival draws a lively crowd in downtown Los Angeles. All day, you can indulge in games, drinks, food and more. Admission is just $10, and the party goes all day. It’s family-friendly, but keep in mind that this is one party where the green beer flows with ease.

St. Paddy’s Shenanigans

At Tam O’Shanters, one of the oldest Irish establishments in southern California, you’re in for a real treat. The party starts at 11 a.m. with Irish coffee for those who need a pick me up. The tented parking lot opens at 1 p.m., and Celtic bands get the party really started at 2. Pub food, great music and green beer go until the wee hours.

The famous Pig ‘n Whistle also throws an epic party with the best DJs in town as well as drink specials on Jameson and Guinness. Here, pinching those not in green remains a holiday tradition. Where will March 17 find you?
