Ralph B. Clark Regional Park

Ralph B. Clark Regional Park at 8800 Rosecrans Avenue in nearby Buena Park is open from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. in the spring. Parking is just $3 on weekdays and $5 on the weekends. The sprawling park is the perfect getaway from the bustle of Anaheim and Disney attractions. Situated in the foothills of Coyote Hills, visitors enjoy 104 acres with a softball complex, large grassy hills and open areas, and an abundance of sandstone cliffs and native plants.

Bring a picnic, hike one of the many trails, or simply stroll and enjoy the California sunshine. There are plenty of large, shaded picnic areas, trails just for bikes, and a selection of playgrounds for kids. Many sports teams use the park for volleyball, baseball and softball practices. Head to the well-stocked fishing area with a three-acre lake, and catch your own dinner!

R&R in Anaheim

Tennis courts are also available, as well as an amphitheater. You can book these spaces for private events, or simply stop by and make use of them when they aren’t reserved. The amphitheater overlooks a lake and is a favorite spot for weddings and special events.

Visit the on-site Interpretive Center to explore the paleontology museum. Get a peek into prehistoric Orange County with exhibits, guided tours and programs. Volunteers and scientists are regularly excavating in the park, prepping fossil specimens. There’s a good chance you might stumble across a discovery team during your visit!
